Interview with Tatiana Latinovic

I was born in Dallas, TX and raised in Tampa, FL; I always say, “I am from Dallas and Tampa.” I am a nontraditional social work major with a focus on adolescence and emerging adult mental health and substance 1use. I am a First Gen college student with the privilege to attend college for my children, community, family and future generations. I am an LCDC-Intern looking forward to becoming a resource as I continue my education at TCU. I chose TCU for their mission statement; “Educate Individuals to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community!” After graduation I will continue with my master's and doctoral degree while freelancing with nonprofits offering counseling services to those in need. I enjoy making a difference for nontraditional students connecting them to resources allowing them to feel welcomed and connected! My goal is to connect students to resources that would allow them to have a meaningful and fulfilling collegiate experience. The two values I honor are Faith and Service as God is my firm foundation and through Him all things are possible!
