Dr. Juan Carlos Sola-Corbacho
I was born in Madrid, Spain, where I lived until the end of the last century when I crossed the “big lake.” Before coming to the United States I finished my BA, with majors in History and Geography, and minors in Philosophy, Art History, and Literature, at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I also completed my Ph.D. at the Complutense, with an award-winning dissertation on merchant families in eighteenth-century Spain and Mexico. Currently I am an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice at the John V. Roach Honors College (Texas Christian University).
